Description: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, which is commonly referred to as CPR, is an emergency medical procedure performed on those suffering from cardiac arrest that are unresponsive and not breathing. By performing CPR, breathing and blood circulation to the brain may be restored to save lives. The Heart Center, which serves those in Northern Virginia, teaches CPR classes. As part of The Heart Center's cardiopulmonary resuscitation training curriculum, they also offer infant CPR classes.
